It has been few weeks since I have blogged….but I have baked. This Thanksgiving I give thanks for my wonderful family…extended and immediate. I wouldn’t be who I am today if it was not for them. The Lord has truly blessed me.
This year I made Pumpkin Cupcakes for my family and friends. I also baked a Pumpkin Swirl Cheesecake and a Pumpkin Pound Cake. These cupcakes were frosted with a cream cheese cinnamon frosting. It was delicious!!!!
The cheesecake was for my friends, The Chesser Family.
I was so excited to make this and I wanted it to come out perfect. The crust was made of Ginger Snaps and Pecans.
I also made a Pumpkin Pound cake and this cake just crumbled with goodness. It had Maraschino cherries, walnuts, pecans and raisins. I was supposed to glaze it with orange juice and powdered sugar, but since it was being transported the next day I didn’t want for it to be soggy. This was a hit and a great coffee break dessert.
Thank you for letting me share my hobby with you and my love for baking and cooking. You all have come into my life at different times, but you all mean so much to me. May the Lord continue to bless you in all and everything you do.
